Travel and Accommodations

We are delighted you are considering joining us in beautiful Birmingham for AEI's FREE Forum. The nearest airport to the event is Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport, which is a 10 minute drive from the conference hotel. We recommend arriving in the afternoon on November 2, 2022, to make it to the hotel in time to register for the Forum and attend the first session that evening. Each registrant is responsible for his or her own hotel and travel accommodation expenses. We do not want finances to impede anyone interested in joining, so we have set aside funds to help finance participation for those who may not have professional development budgets available. You can apply for that funding by clicking here. The conference is being hosted at the Westin Birmingham, with some programming taking place at offsite locations. Transportation to programming offsite will be arranged by AEI.

Our room block is now closed, however, we may have a few rooms still available at the discounted rate of $196 (plus taxes and fees) per night.
