Who We Are

About AEI’s FREE Forum

The American Enterprise Institute is proud to be launching a new series of invitation-only events under the leadership of AEI scholar Ian V. Rowe as part of the FREE Initiative. Earlier this year, Ian released a highly-acclaimed new book titled Agency: The Four Point Plan (F.R.E.E.) for All Children to Overcome the Victimhood Narrative and Discover their Pathway to Power. More information about Ian's book and the FREE Initiative can be found here.

Our FREE Forums, the first of which is taking place in Birmingham this fall, aspire to catalyze regional change through a four-pronged approach: 1. Inspire to think difference about the pillars of upward mobility; 2. Educate about the behaviors that lead to upward mobility and human flourishing; 3. Connect policy and business executives with social entrepreneurs in a unique forum that fosters knowledge sharing; 4. Resource leaders with examples of successful intervention strategies that bridge business, philanthropic, government, and nonprofit sectors.

About AEI

The American Enterprise Institute is a public policy think tank dedicated to defending human dignity, expanding human potential, and building a freer and safer world. The work of our scholars and staff advances ideas rooted in our belief in democracy, free enterprise, American strength and global leadership, solidarity with those at the periphery of our society, and a pluralistic, entrepreneurial culture.

We are committed to making the intellectual, moral, and practical case for expanding personal freedom, increasing individual opportunity, and promoting free enterprise in America and around the world. We invite you to visit www.aei.org to learn more about our mission, activities, and impact. You can also review our 2021 annual report here.
